the fingerings are all the same, but the key is different. when an alto plays a G and a soprano plays a C they sound the same. the only difference in fingereings is in the upper altissimo register, that is very high. soprano sax's can come in different keys, there is the common Bb that you most likely own. there is a less common soprano in C and there is a also a mezzo-soprano in F. hope this helps.
