 Kohlert brand

Hi,

I'm a sax doubler and picked up a bassoon a few years ago. Here's the information off the horn itself: It's made by "Kohlert & Co. Winnenden." The serial number is 9384. My research tells me it was made in 1953 in Winnenden, Germany. Looks like it's made of maplewood.

Can anyone tell me more about this instrument? What level is it (beginner, intermediate, pro)? Anything else? Thanks.
