Hi Jaysne,

Parts that go above high C are quite unusual, and even high C isn't that common.
Most of the time you won't see anything above high Bb or B.

There are a few pieces with solos containing high C or above, e.g. (from memory)

Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra has high C
Carmina Burana has high C and C#
Rite of Spring has high C, Db and D
Ravel Piano Concerto has high C# and E
West Side Story Symphonic Dances has high F (!)
