A sock for the long joint

Just got my new bassoon (hooray!) and decided in order to keep it nice and nick free that I'd make a sock for the long joint.

Any piece of soft cotton or flannel will do, and most everyone can sew a box. It works great, keeps the long joint off the wing joint while stored, and keeps cork grease off the velvet in the case.
