 Emil Jardin Clarinet?
Author: Barry
Date:   1999-07-27 00:02

My wife saw a wooden clarinet in an antique shop and is interested in finding out more about its background. It had the words "Emil Jardin Paris" imprinted on the bell. She thinks that its bell may have been smaller than her Bb Normandy clarinet, but otherwise saw nothing else distinctive.

We've searched via the standard web search engines, and here, but not gotten anywhere. Sorry that the description is a little thin, but would appreciate any search directions or information towards finding out more on this instrument.

The "New Langwill Index" lists Jardin as operating in the earth 20th century, based out of Nimes, France. That's all it had.
