 Bundy's from the late 60s

Hello
I have heard many people sing the praises of Bundy's from the 70s and 80s. Are the Bundy's from the late 60s much different? I've found one that I'm considering purchasing and overhauling one for my daughter.
Thanks for your thoughts!

I'm asking specifically about their plastic student clarinet from the 60s.

I actually played one my first year! Starting to show my age I guess. Well they were made fine, but the metal hitting the plastic sometimes made a bit of noise when the cork fell off. As I remember they played fairly well in tune, but that was the 4th grade! I'm not too sure how in tune 4th graders play in tune! The Bundy mouthpieces were actually decent. Not too open.
