 Clarinet repair

For those searching for someone to expertly repair their clarinets, I would like to suggest Leslie Nicholas (www.lesnicholas.com). Over the years, I have had two of the best professional repair people working on my clarinets (and some not as talented). I have recently had three of my clarinets (an older Bb and A clarinet and a new Bb “out of the box”) entirely rebuilt by Les. They came back absolutely perfect - they have never played better! For anyone needing any type of repair - from an errant key to full refurbishment - Les is truly spectacular. His background as a professional clarinetist and collegiate music faculty member is highlighted by his long interest and talent in clarinet repair which is nonpareil. His past apprenticeship with Hans Moennig and others is complemented by the compulsiveness of a Swiss watchmaker. Anyone looking for a solution to any issue with their instruments should look no further.
