 Francaix variations note check
Author: 2E

Hey bboard,

I did a search but couldn't find the answer to the following question.

I have the Max Eschig edition of the Francaix variations and am wondering if there's a misprinted note in the second variation (presto). Two bars before rehearsal figure 6, clearly based on the F major arpeggio, the fourth beat is printed as an Eb, should this be an F natural? It would follow the pattern of the next bar with beat four printed as an F natural.

Recordings I've listened to appear to play F natural, is this printed differently in another edition?

Many thanks for your responses,

2E.
