 Vandoren clarinet reeds new owner

I heard that the Vandoren reeds company has been bought over by a new owner. Is there anyone who could throw some light to this news?

Seems strange to me. Bernard Vandoren would most likely leave it in the family. If he was selling I would think Rico would buy it. Rico and Vandoren actually did business together, buying and selling cane to meet the demands of the players.
