He is one of my favorites! If you haven't already heard it, listen to Minnesota Orchestra Pines of Rome. It is in my opinion one of the best Pines of Rome EVER!

He sounds really great here, I must admit.
It's interesting though, he sounds very easy on the clarinet, but looks like he's in so much pain playing the thing. Funny white jacket too.
Great playing though, fantastic intonation, and a lot of really nice, long phrases

I do not remember exactly what was said, but in a clinic given by Burt here at our University of Wisconsin, Burt advocated dance movements to help "feel" the music. He is very much in motion when he plays and recommends that to his students as a means toward musical expression.
