I'm on the market for a new mpc, and considering various Vandoren models, including the M15 which stands out for me. Tried the B45 a while ago and did not work for me. I'm caught between the M15, 5RV, and M13, and would love to know anything to consider in terms of facing, tip opening, etc. What's the difference between the pitches (A440/A442)? Have played on a Hite Premier for over 7 yrs and currently using V12 size 4 reeds, so I'm looking for something somewhat similar, but better. Thanks!

The only real way to tell is to play it with your setup, preferably with some other mouthpieces, and see how you like it. It sounds like you have already played one and have a good impression of it. They are popular for a good reason. However, everything in your setup interacts (including the way you play it), so don't expect to get the same results as somebody else does with their equipment and techniques.
My experience is that if your group plays A=440 and you don't get a series 13, your instrument will be slightly out of tune with itself once you get your A down to 440 hz. That's from a limited sample of one M15 profile 88 mouthpiece on four clarinets (from a Selmer Signet to a Leblanc Symphonie).
The close facings are supposed to work best with harder reeds, but that doesn't mean that you have to play them that way. My daughter made first chair in her school band playing an M-15 and Gonzalas FOF 2 1/2s.

I spent many years learning clarinet on a Hite Premiere. I then moved to a B45 which had a much harsher sound. The b40 gave me a B45 feel but with a much more pleasing sound.
I've since settled on an M15 profile 88 series 13. I often wondered if I would be better off with the higher pitched version of the M15 but it ended up playing too sharp for A=440 situations on my horn.
I think you will like the M15 series 13 because I believe the Hites are american pitch as well. Also your V12 4's will be a perfect match on the M15.
One of my favorite aspects about the M15 is the fact that it is so reed friendly. I used to spend so much time adjusting reeds (v12 3.5) for my B40. I find that just about all the V12 4s in a box are playable on the M15 right out of the box.
