Does anyone have any idea if these were made before WWII or only after?

The only Boosey 1010 I’ve ever seen with an articulated G# is one my first teacher had that was in one piece. It was a nice instrument from possibly the 30s or 40s. I can’t be sure on the date now and sadly he’s passed on now.

I have a Bb "pre-war" 1010 (in 2 pieces) with articulated g# and upper joint forked Bb. According to Jennifer Brand's thesis it was the last 1010 of pre-war production, probably 1940.

It must have been a beautiful instrument when new but had a very hard life before it came to me about 1977. They upper joint had cracked badly and been successfully repaired but looked ugly. Plating was nickel silver.

I kept it going for another 15 years or so until I got some Peter Eaton Elites.

I also have a pre-war A 1010 that had been modified to have an articulated g# based on the original key. I'd really like to get a regular pre-war A c#/g# key to use instead.
