Gordon Jacob - Wind in the reeds
Author: Diana
Date:   2003-04-01 19:45

The clarinet ensemble that I play with is working on Gordon Jacob's "Wind in the Reeds". The third movement is entitled "A Childhood Memory", and the last part of this movement is a familiar song but none of us can remember which one. Does anyone know what the melody is? It's making us crazy; we keep humming the tune but can't identify it.
I'd also be happy to get any other information about this piece as a whole since I was not able to find out very much about it.
Thanks,
Diana
