Heather,
The Carl Fischer company imported 10s if not 100s of different maker's clarinets into the USA. Knowing it's from Italy doesn't help, unfortunately. Very few serial numbers from the original manufacturer survive, and without knowing the exact manufacturer we don't even know where to start.
