I've done a bit of oboe part [sight] transpostion onto Bb, not difficult if in "reasonable" keys [and with no Cb's or E#'s to tussle with!], but prefer to use my old Conn plastic C [with shortened mp tenon to get up to 440+] for the slightly "brighter" tone quality. A good friend borrows it for his church orch use frequently. You might consider playing the part on Eb cl for "brighter-yet", my older Noblet is a good one!!. We have made use of transpositional computer methods to use various cls for other insts, such as alto cl for viola, just try that one!! Don
