Reese,

For several years I have been using both a peg and the Michael Drapkin Bass Stap at the same time. The strap is worn over one shoulder and across the body. This is a very solid and stable platform that can easily be adjusted to suit your needs.

I did change the hook to a snap hook which I re-rigged using parachute cord. The instrument is now very secure.
