There isn't a standard for the number on the note.
In this case, line below the treble staff, middle C on an 88 key piano, is the 4th octave up from the bottom.
On a 76 key piano it is C3, etc, etc.

Sometimes it is called C1 on the clarinet and sometimes it is C4.
