Old crystal mpc "King" with SML antique

I got a very old SML (simply marked "Strasser, Marigaux, Lemaire" -- no model name or "Made by" -- just the three names) serial number 721. It looks to have been made in the late 1930s/early 1940s.

I thought it was an odd coincidence that the old crystal mouthpiece with it says "King."

Did the relationship between the companies go that far back? This is a question *Vytas* would know the answer to!

Hello Bill,

The relationship between the SML and King started in the 1960's and ended in the early 1980's.
