Perhaps I should say that all my basset clarinets – two at A=430, Bb and A and one at A=440 in A – are period instruments in boxwood.

I used to have a modern Selmer, keywork rejigged by Jon Steward, but sold it to Joy Farrall. She may still have it. I think she recorded the Mozart concerto on it.
