Lamest Rendition Of 'Sugar Plum Fairy' ...
Author: Chris P

Are your senses being assaulted again this year with a bargain bin version of 'Sugar Plum Fairy' on telly or radio?

If so, name and shame where you heard it (and that's heard and not listened) or if you really want to, post a link to it so we can all endure your pain.

I just caught a horrendous version on telly just now on "Kirstie's Handmade Christmas" on 4seven (UK). I had the telly on in the background and heard it through no choice of my own (and her voice grates on my nerves too). No bass clarinet on that from what I just heard - the classic 'du-du-du-du-duuuuh' being played by a bassoon!

I can't get to the remote quick enough! 'Toy Story that Time Forgot' is on 4+1 - that'll do.

Former oboe finisher
Howarth of London
1998 - 2010

The opinions I express are my own.
