Yamaha makes amazing consistent clarinets that are affordable. They're thousands of dollars cheaper than the comparable offerings from other companies. The CSGII and SE artist are competing with the Tosca yet are about two thousand dollars cheaper and they're already in adjustment and ready to play out of the box.
I've never heard anyone who has been on a professional orchestra audition committee every say, "We're just looking for that Buffet ping in the sound" so lets cut that crap out.
