Maker's Mark ID: M.T.

Would be grateful for any help identifying a maker's mark that I found under the top and bottom keys of a LaFleur clarinet, ca 1880. J R LaFleur was a London importer but not maker of clarinets. He almost certainly got them from France, and mine is very similar to many of the French clarinets of the day. I first thought M.T. might stand for Martin-Thibouville, but I haven't been able to verify that they ever used that mark - M.T. within a diamond. See attached photo. Thanks for any thoughts!
