A sad note from Angela Carter, about my former teacher:

Dear Friends,

As many of you know, David Etheridge has recently been diagnosed with cancer. He was admitted to the hospital on Monday and today began chemo treatment. His family has set up a website so people can keep up with his progress and they've asked me to forward the link to his extended clarinet family. Feel free to send it to anyone that might want stay updated.
