 Zinner "DT"

I just had a new student come to my studio with a Zinner bass clarinet mouthpiece stamped "DT" on the top. He says he got it from his grandfather, who is a notable clarinetist. It seems to play quite well -- does anybody know what the DT stands for?

A highly UNinformed thot, "dark tone". Re: my Pomarico alto cl mp, it has their description as "mellow". Quite uncertain of term "meanings. Don

Hi Larry, I forgot to add. "for US/Eng" "consumption". Looked in my small Eng/Ger dict. ?perhaps their "dunkel ton". HELP, pliz, Don
