 Smart Music

Just viewed the web site for "Smart Music", this is quite a system for the beginning band and advanced band students. Music learning & playing techniques have come a "long" way since I played my clarinet in bands in the 60's. I'm slowly relearning my fingerings and playing techniques all over again ,since my on again/off again playing in the 80's. I'm using a Hal Leonard CD system , where the accompianment is played at its correct tempo and the melody, which I play, is played softly to help the musician get a "feel" for the tempo, even if he hasn't ever heard the piece before. It's extremely tough for this 55 year old beginner! If you haven't heard of the "Smart Music" system, type in "Smart Music" in your browser. It's worht the time to listen.
