I am a "new music" composer and I have a very difficult work for soprano clarinet and soprano voice that I would like to have performed. I am looking for suggestions on how to find very advanced clarinetists who would be interested in reading the score and performing it. There are plenty of places on the internet where one can find "calls for scores" but there seems to be no place for composers to post "calls for performers".
Ideally I would like to find an interested Clarinet-Soprano duo that specializes in new music, if one exists. I am an American composer living in Vienna (Austria, not Virginia). I am ready to send the score to any interested parties anywhere in the world.
Any suggestions on where to place a "call for near-virtuoso clarinetist" on the internet or elsewhere? Are there premieres of new clarinet works at the ClarinetFest or other clarinet conventions?
