Easy solution: get more clarinets. And your spare does not have to be great, only competent. Can't tell you how many jobs I have played on my spares. My wife is the same way - her Yamaha spare has saved the day several times when her Powell flute was in the shop. Your main instruments should be wonderful, but the spares just need to be OK. My spare A clarinet is an old wood Artley; every so often I will bring it along for someone I am playing with to use, and they say it is just fine.
One time in the 1970's a really great sax player friend asked to borrow my old American Standard alto while his was in the shop. (FYI AS only makes plumbing fixtures now.) He took a few licks on it, let out this immense squack, and looked at it scratching is head. "!!No high F key!!" Sure, but it kept him playing for three weeks during an overhaul and replate.
