Has anyone ever heard of this maker or something close- its hard to read the last name engraved in the wood so the spelling may be incorrect-its a Bb- I am wondering the value-the quality seems good-thanks!

I couldn't find anything close in the Mew Langwill Index. Work on that last name - Pierre & Paris don't help much :^)

Could it be Lemay , as in SML?

Don,
I'm surprised to see you making an error! The "L" in SML is for Lemaire (Strasser-Marigaux-Lemaire is the company). Just a nit.

Right you are, Dave!! Guess my old memory needs some "looking-up" research, not just "off the top of the head". Was I thinking of a retired Air Force General??? Just got bit by a nit! TKS, Don
