Dear Dan

From the tone of your mails I understand you think I am a biy stupid. Let me
tell you I'm not. Of course I know all the difficulties you noticed,
especially the problem that for G-sharp/a-flat in the lowest register,
D-sharp/E-flat in the middle register you have only the right hand little
finger available, it is a difficulty I often discuss with my pupils and
fellow-amateur carinettist. But in the mail tyhat started this all I only
postulated (in diferent words) that i thought these actions were, or rather
should be, automated with professionals. They are in part even with many
amateurs, for instance with me, but I admit we amateurs often have to try
out several possibilities, before beginning to automate these difficult
sequences.I only was amazed that some keys with as few as four or five flats
or sharps might pose a problem to prrofessionals, where even I can handle
these tonalities, that 's all. I don't see why this raises so much
agressiveness in you. Makes me think some unkind things about your playuing
qualities, but these I will not speak loudly.

Just as good friends, I hope

Rien
