*sigh* That would be me, most of the thousand or so times I played ITM in
big band gigs. I didn't always play the 2nd alto part - the other alto
player and I were pretty evenly matched both as lead players and soloists,
so we switched off 1st and 2nd. ITM was just one of the 2nd alto parts I
got to enjoy.

Oh, and by the way, I'm still a few years shy of 50 ;-)
