Musipedia (www.musipedia.org) has a database of musical melodies based
on their contour. The contour, or "Parson's code", is determined by
whether notes go up, or down, or repeat. If I interpret your
description correctly, the Parson's code is *UDUDUDUDUDURRR. Musipedia
found two exact matches for that contour, but the melodies aren't the
same. There are several hundred "close matches".

Oddly enough, Sinatra's signature tune "My Way" has almost that exact
signature, as does "Summer Nights" from Grease.
