There are more metronomes out there than you can shake a stick at, with
varying features, including built-in chromatic tuners, for anywhere from
$10 to $100. Some (not expensive) even include earphones. Take a look at
your local music store or catalog. I would suggest getting one that can
subdivide beats and give a different sound for downbeats. Actually, I have
a program for my PDA that functions as a metronome and can play tuning notes!
