Gary, Thanks. I don't think this woman is on another planet, but someone
at the music store might be. I had a difficult time imagining this going
out of print, since it is so much a part of the standard clarinet
repertoire. She is looking for the Carl Fischer version. I don't know
where she looked for it but I'll tell her it is still available. By the
way, is there a good internet resource to use to determine if any piece of
music is still in print? I don't mean a publisher specifically but some
sort of general reference? Our piano teachers organization was looking for
a duet recently that had been published originally as a single sheet. Four
music stores told me the duet was out of print but I was able to find it
published in a collection of duet music at sheetmusicplus. We have a
"Monster Concert" coming up in January and we are currently looking for
another set of duets that one store told us is out of print and yet, my
"music committee" partner told me it is in print. Christy
