I further submit, Dan, that perhaps in such an area as vibrato, there is
never going to be a complete consensus because it is an area governed so
much by subjective opinion of what particular individuals find pleasant
to listen to. Some prefer the vibrato tied to the dynamic; others to
note length, still others have other criteria. Of course, one cannot
broaden that field TOO much, or else I will eventually find a market for
these recordings of nanny goats I have on mp3.
