Hi all!

I'm new to this list. I'm a professional folk musician, and I just taken
up the clarinet in the past few months. I have a Selmer Signet 100,
which I seem to get on well with, it's got a nice tone, and seems easy
to play.

It came with a Brilhart mouthpiece, which has written on it "Nilow Hovey
B3" written on it. Now I know the B3 is the size etc...but I can't find
out more about this mouthpiece. I've done a search on almost all
internet search engines for Nilow Hovey, and can't find anything at all.

Can anybody tell me more about this mouthpiece, is it worth keeping? Or
am I better off with a new one? And also, what reeds would play well
with this mouth piece? I'm playing with with Rico Royal 2's and 2 1/2's
at the moment. I can hit most Clarion notes with these reeds, do I need
something stronger to go higher?

Thanks in advance for your help!

James.
