Subj: [kl] Unabashed compliments to The Doctor's Products

I recently evaluated some products for Omar Henderson "The Doctor" who is a
sponsor of "Sneezy".

His mouthpiece cleaner is safe and very effective. It is also extremely
inexpensive. I have used it on my personal mouthpieces and I am cleaning up
some old oxidized mpcs around the shop. It is fantastic.

He makes a cork grease called "Dr Slick" that is made from extract of
Slipper Elm bark. I have been repairing instruments for 25 years and have
always kept my eye out for a good cork grease. This is it. It contains no
petroleum (which quickly ruins cork) and no lanolin. It remains slippery
without getting all over the instrument and it would seem that one tube is
just about a life time supply.

I tried another product called "Dr Syntek" which is another natural product
for corks. it is "gooey" and can be applied with the finger. I would not use
it on my instrument only because I find that kind of cork grease tends to
migrate. BUT, I tried it as a cork CLEANER on mouthpiece and joint corks and
it workd very, very well. Much better than using alcohol or other chemical
agents that tend to break cork down.

My hat is off to "The Doctor". He will have a booth in New Orleans. I will
also be giving away free samples of his mouthpiece cleaner with purchases.

I do not own stock in this company, or have any financial interest. He did
tell me that if I promote his products he would sell me his 100+ collection
of Kaspar mouthpieces for $1.
