GIL,

There is nothing to be ashamed about. There are as many reasons to play the
clarinet as there are clarinet players in the world. ARE YOU HAVING FUN?
That's the important question. My hat's off to anyone who goes for it, or
anything new, at 37. We get old when we think old. We quit learning when we
are so limited in our imaginations and the world around us that we simply
get BORED! Life is learning and learning should never cease until we draw
our last breath of air.
