I almost hesitate to say anything here BUT, I have one student who is
playing on a Jupiter with a Hite mouthpiece. This is her first year and she
is doing very well. While I have no other experience with Jupiter
clarinets, I do know that Jupiter makes exceptionally fine flutes. They are
some of the best on the market for entry-level and pre-professional level
flutes. This one clarinet speaks very easily, has nice keywork, has an
adjustable thumb rest, came in a good, sturdy case with nice accessories
(decent cork grease, silk swab and instructions on how to put together the
instrument and take care of it) and has held up very well.
