  Dear Rien:
If you are looking for information on Miklos Rozsa
try looking in books about film composers. His most
famous was Ben-Hur, and his last were Dead Men Don't
Wear Plaid and Eye of the Needle.
It was my understanding until now, that the Sonatina
for Solo Clarinet was written in the 50's and that the
"Sonata" and "Sonatina" were the same thing (thanks Daniel).
The first words of his autobiography transcribed
from tape by Christopher Palmer (?):
"Real joy is a serious matter." "I have no time for
any music which does not stimulate pleasure in life and
even more importantly, PRIDE in life."
Mr. Rozsa must have been in interesting character!
Have fun practicing the piece, hope this info was helpful.
