Subject: [kl] risk of stroke
There was an interesting show on PBS a couple tears ago about
strokes-research/treatment. One of the occupations cited as having the
highest number of strokes was "French Hornist". They then hooked up a
Hornist to moniter and had him play a few simple scales in the lower
register. Only a slight increase was observed. When he started playing the
higher notes, his BP sky-rocketed to very dangerous levels. This by the way
is how my grampa died. He was a Hornist.
