Your post reminded me that when I was a kid in the 50's I was taught a
similar technique for burning reed tips. This was in Indianapolis, a place
with very few Italians. Thanks for reminding me. It's amazing what we
forget!

Your English writing is very comprehensible. Your errors are minor in the
extreme.
