I remember buying VanDoren Tenor Sax and Bass Clarinet reeds in NYC for a
discounted $7. per box of 10 and out of 100 reeds or 10 boxes I'd get about
15 - 20 really good reeds which included the good-hearted obnes that had a
good grain were able to adjust to play well, and out of that there were
perhaps 3 to 5 superb reeds. Does anyone experience this from time to time?
