Here are the subscribe instructions for the flute listserv.

To subscribe to FLUTE please send email to listserv@-----.edu
with the following line in the email body

sub flute yourname

e.g.,

sub flute Francois Kloc

You will receive a notification asking you to confirm your request;
instructions will be included, but the confirmation is simple. Just
reply and type the word "ok" (without the quotes) in your mail body.
Don't include the confirmation request in your reply. It's a bit of a
pain, but it helps us to keep the subscription database clean, and
also helps to keep out spammers.

************************ The DIGEST option **********************

The Digest option (when you receive a single posting containing
everything sent to the list for a single day) can be invoked by
sending the following command to listserv@-----.edu
(after you have subscribed)

SET flute DIGEST

To subscribe to the saxophone list, send a message to:

majordomo@-----.edu

Leave the subject line blank, and in the first and only line of your
message, write:

subscribe rccarter_saxophone <your e-mail address>

Disable any automatically generated signature files before sending the
message.

To subscribe to the digest version, send a message to majordomo@-----.edu
with this line in the body of the message:

subscribe rccarter_saxophone-digest <your e-mail>

where you replace <your e-mail> with your e-mail address.
