I have a 36 year old R-13 and I just replaced by old Springer barrel with a
Chadash. The results are amazing. The instrument was sounding rather "dead"
and the barrel brightens up the sound and makes it sound like a new
instrument.I tried several Chadash barrels before I found the one that gave
me the response I wanted....they are not all the same.(Thanks Lisa)
