I can't see anything to be gained by putting the most negative and cynical
analysis possible for any and every question. I have never known of a
competent repair person who didn't have far more work than they could
handle. They tend not to make much money anyway from replacing an
occasional pad on a Bundy or other student instrument. On the other hand,
I won't be putting any Valentino pads on my Heckel or Fox bassons or my
Loree oboe.
