Subj: [kl] Question about pads
Date: Wed, 27 Jan 1999 01:33:57 -0500

Dear list,

The paper/plastic coating on my register key pad is starting to peel off
and flake and createsa fairly distinct sound when playing over the
break...kind of like a 'snap' just post pad release/hole opening. Is there
a way to salvage this pad by either a)removing the remainder of the 'paper'
or b)using an alternate covering?

OR, how difficult is it to find a simple replacement pad via a local music
store...is this something that is fairly standardized and they might have
in stock or would that route involve a long arduous process?

Thanks in advance,

Ryan.
