Koenig and Meyer make a stand which is advertised as being for either
bassoon or bass clarinet, and it is adjustable and so would work very well
for alto clarinet. It is very sturdy and stable. Not the most portable
or the least expensive stand on the market, but one which will do the job
very well. I bought one a few months ago from Forrest's Music in
Berkeley, CA, and found that they had about the best price on this stand.
