As an orchestral player as well as chamber music and solo recital player,
I prefer the word projection and all of the baggage that comes with it.
For me, it describes more accurately the information I am trying to get
across. I have never thought of projection as implying a harsh sound.
Perhaps that is something that others experience though. It certainly
does not indicatem harshness.....in any definition I have heard or read.
I believe that must be a personal opinion.

But.....enough quibbling about terminology! Where is Dan Leeson and the
discussion about Dark, Bright, etc.???? when you need him??

LOL (my meaning of that is laugh out loud by the way).
