 Dear Mr. Cable,

Since you have these 2 clarinets I assume that you collect older instruments
of this type. I have an Ab clarinet that you may want to see. I have no
plans on selling it, but it is an interesting piece in any case. It is
playable and in excellent condition. It dates back to 1939.

The following is on the bell. I would be indebted to anybody that has or
knows where I can find more information abouit this clarinet.

 CLEMEN MEINEL
 HOLZBLASINSTRUMENTEN - BAU
 WERNITZGRUN SA
 1939 (manufacture date)
 9747 (serial number)

If you have any info, I would be glad to hear it.

BTW, Mr. Cable, I believe we can arrange a meeting about 8:00 a.m. tomorrow,
 Mon, April 26?
I'll bring the clarinet, email me for more info.

 Subject: [klarinet] Selmer Clarinet Question

I have 2 Henri Selmer Paris Clarinets and two questions...

 1. What does the word "DEPOSE" mean that is above the Selmer Paris
 symbol on the upper joint?

 2. How rare is it to have a Selmer Paris clarinet from 1931 (Serial
L1xxx) that is in near perfect playing condition?

 Thanks,

 Jason L. Cable
