It is possible that Jonathan has misunderstood? The teacher
recommendation does not occur as a written event.........the teacher
impacts by picking up the telephone and calling the person he knows to try
to get the student considered. I have never seen a request for a teacher
recommendation for an orchestral audition!! (They might exist, I just have
never seen one). I don't understand the point of the last sentence above.
